In September, the EMMA team made 5 new production releases that brought 36 new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes. Here’s a look at what’s new this month:
New Features and Feature Enhancements
- EMMA now features Auto-Scaling, which dynamically allocates additional computing resources during high-demand processes such as large data imports, accounting functions, and document processing. This enhancement improves performance during peak times and ensures customer systems run smoothly.
- We introduced a new Payment Application Setting that allows customers to differentiate dues and fee payments, preventing cross-application between different charge types. This ensures cleaner accounting and streamlined payment handling.
- The Quick Search feature was updated to make email address searches case-insensitive, reducing search errors and improving overall efficiency.
- We’ve enhanced the Grievance Email System to ensure consistent handling of inserted information, reducing the likelihood of missing data in system-generated emails.
Fixes
- We resolved several issues this month, including a fix that corrected the display of payment totals after an undone payment, improving financial clarity for customers.
- Another fix addressed the problem of deleted affiliation dates causing inaccurate reports in People Management, ensuring that member data displays correctly.
Customer Configuration Changes
- In response to customer requests, we adjusted system settings to hide unnecessary fields and improve report clarity. These changes were made at no cost to customers, as part of our commitment to product flexibility.
