In October, the EMMA team made 10 production deployments, introducing 29 new features, enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes.
Here’s a summary of what’s new in EMMA for October:
New Features and Feature Enhancements
- We introduced a new company personnel type labeled ‘Payroll’ to clearly identify individuals managing payroll, distinguishing them from those in HR roles.
- We implemented a manual signup match feature on the signup page, enhancing flexibility in managing electronic signups when members submit invalid SSNs or phone numbers.
- We enhanced the Homepage Quick Find feature to allow customers to search for work locations by name or code.
Fixes
- Corrected issues related to initiation fee calculations, international codes, and import settings to ensure accurate data processing.
- Fixed errors affecting PDFs, name formatting, and People Management filters.
- Improved charge balance calculations and recalculation scripts for better financial accuracy.
Customer Configuration Changes
- We fielded 12 requests from customers in October asking for a variety of configuration changes to their EMMA system. As always, these changes were made without cost to customers. This included enhancements to the signup process and adjustments to the grievance intake form for improved data accuracy and efficiency.
