In April, the EMMA team made 7 production releases, introducing 24 new features, enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes—focused on flexibility, clarity, and system integrity.
Here’s a summary of what’s new in EMMA for April:
Feature Changes and Enhancements
- Admins can now export member records from both the Status Change Queue and Queue History, making it easier to review and analyze data before or after changes are processed.
- Admins can now edit check numbers in batches that have “Create Billing” enabled, allowing for faster corrections without needing to recreate the entire batch.
- Membership statistics now update automatically when person types change from active to inactive, reducing manual steps and keeping records accurate.
- Admins can now import multiple fee types in a single batch when processing payments, eliminating the need to perform separate imports for each payment type. This saves time and streamlines workflows.
- We have updated field labels on payment and import screens, created more descriptive filters, and standardized employee identifiers to improve clarity and reduce user confusion.
- Frontera admins now have more control over EMMA’s job queue with tools to monitor the progress of batch processes and cancel and rerun batch jobs as needed.
Fixes
- Legacy payment data was cleaned up across all accounting systems to ensure deleted payments no longer remain linked to open charges, improving billing accuracy and preventing reporting errors.
